Westhampton Senior Housing, Westhampton, MA
Site design for seven units of affordable senior housing and a community center. Responsibilities included design of a 970lf roadway, parking, walkways, grading and drainage and landscape design.

Hilltown Community Development Corporation Office Building, Chesterfield, MA
New construction of a 5000sf Hilltown CDC office building and Hilltown Community Day Care Center. Site design included vehicular and pedestrian circulation design, parking, grading and drainage, and landscape design.

Rowe Conference Center, Rowe, MA
Expansion of existing conference center that included added parking and revised vehicular and pedestrian circulation improvements.

Cliffview Manor, Easthampton, MA
Site design and sidewalk improvement project for an elderly housing project in Easthampton. The project included redesigning the road circulation, parking, crosswalks, and sidewalks in order to be compliant with ADA requirements. The project also included a Landscaping Plan and the expansion of a small green space for the residents. This project was done in association with Killam Associates New England, Hadley, Massachusetts

Mount Snow Ski Area, West Dover, Vermont
Planning, design and environmental permitting for a new 250 multi-tiered surface parking lot and improvement to an existing 600-car parking lot. The design included grading, drainage, lighting, landscaping, signage and planting fifty-foot wide river edge buffers using indigenous materials.
Improvement and redesign of the main drop-off zone. This project involved a study of traffic flow and pedestrian movement resulting in changing two-way traffic to one-way, redesigning parking, new signage, fencing and landscaping.

Haystack Ski Area, Wilmington, Vermont
Redesign of the existing bus and vehicle drop-off zone to improve pedestrian safety and better define vehicular movement. This project also included new signage, road alignment and landscaping.

Grand Summit Hotel Resort Properties,West Dover, Vermont
Planning, site design, and environmental permitting and compliance for a 250,000 sq. ft. on-slope hotel. Responsibilities included site design for building and road layout, three parking lots, grading, drainage, retail courtyard, lighting, landscaping, signage and site furniture.

City of Westfield, Westfield, MA
Project Manager for planning and design of sidewalk, street furniture, and plantings done in association with the Berkshire Design Group of Northampton, Massachusetts. This project was a part of a multi-phased downtown revitalization effort.

City of Northampton, Northampton, MA
Downtown Main Street Project Manager for a three-year effort in the planning and re-design of four major downtown surface parking lots. One lot concluded with a successful land swap between the City and a utility company. The three year project also included revising the local sign ordinance, selecting and implementing street furniture, initiating a downtown flower program, establishing the railroad trestle mural art work, establishing downtown directional signage and logo, and assisting building owners with façade design.

Town of Athol, Athol, MA
Assistant Project Landscape Architect with C.T. Male Associates for Phase II Downtown Sidewalk and Infrastructure Improvement project. This project’s goals were to improve aesthetics and traffic conditions. A number of concepts were developed with consensus on
a preferred design that incorporated a redesign of intersections to improve safety and traffic flow, period street lighting, plantings, parking layouts and the use of decorative brick and stonework.

Town of Winchendon, Winchendon, MA
Project Manager with C.T. Male Associates for infrastructure and streetscape improvements including 800 feet of sidewalk redesign on Front Street. Period lighting, trees, a plant maintenance program, and new concrete and brick walks were designed as an overall village revitalization effort.

Village of Old Deerfield, Deerfield, MA
Project Landscape Architect with C.T.Male for the reconstruction of 6,605 feet of roadway and over 10,800 feet of sidewalk. Design intent was on maintaining the historic character of Old Deerfield while encouraging tourism. A complete survey and site analysis was undertaken prior to design in order to assess and evaluated existing utilities, historic materials, vegetation, topography, soils and circulation patterns.

Colrain Townscape Study, Colrain, MA
This project was a six-month townscape study to address the issues of growth, development and preserving town character. The study resulted in a fifteen year Master Plan that included physical improvements to the village center, adaptive re-use of key buildings, siting elder housing, and pedestrian and vehicular circulation improvements. Design guidelines in keeping with the Colrain’s townscape and historic fabric were developed.

Store 24, King Street, Northampton, MA
Revised parking and circulation plan for a downtown twenty-four hour convenience store. New plantings and walkways were part of the design to improve the safety and aesthetics of the store property.

Fitzwilly’s Restaurant, Bridge Street, Northampton, MA
Revised parking, circulation and signage design for an active downtown restaurant. Project also included a planting plan for a rooftop garden on the same property.
