Town of Dover, Vermont
Design and environmental permitting for a portion of the five-mile Valley
Bike Trail. Work included bike path layout, meeting ASHTO and accessibility
standards, grading and drainage and public presentations.
Hilltop Montessori School,
Brattleboro, Vermont
Redesign of an existing playground for pre-school to fourteen-year-old children.
Site design included providing for a fully accessible play area by correcting
existing grading and drainage, redesigning the play area and siting a new
basketball court. The playground was also expanded to incorporate a performance
platform, fencing, landscaping and building modifications. Scope included
working with building committee, permitting and preparing construction documents.
City
of Northampton; Northampton, Massachusetts
Project Manager for the City of Northampton for planning and design of four
major inner City parking lots for ADA compliance, street furniture, plantings,
signage, and facade design. Tasks included a successful land swap with a utility
company in order to improve vehicular circulation.
Town of Athol; Athol, Massachusetts
Landscape Designer with C. T. Male Associates for Main Street sidewalk and
streetscape program including improvements in traffic flow, pedestrian circulation,
and downtown amenities. All design met ADA compliance.
Amherst Community Day Care Center; Amherst,
Massachusetts
Project Manager with C. T. Male Associates for Feasibility Study, Definitive
Site Plan, and Construction Documents for an early child care facility on
one acre within an established school area. Project included preliminary and
final site development for ADA compliance, landscaping, and cost estimates.
Town of Northfield Dickinson
Library; Northfield, Massachusetts
Project Manager for Preliminary Site Plan, architectural plans, and elevations
of new expansion to historic structure. Project done in association with Gillen
and Gray Architects, Amherst, Massachusetts.
Deerfield Elementary School;
Deerfield, Massachusetts
Project Manager and Project Landscape Architect with C.T. Male Associates
for new elementary school in South Deerfield. Site design included preparation
of construction documents and detailed interim courtyard design. Done in collaboration
with Peirce, Pierce, and Kramer Architects.
Magnet School; Springfield,
Massachusetts
Project Manager for new 19 million dollar elementary school (Kindergarten
through Grade 8) in the historic Mason Square area of downtown Springfield.
Site design included recreation and parking layout, lighting, walkway, and
landscape design as well as utility design and site grading and drainage.
Done in collaboration of Caolo and Bieniek Architects.
Leverett
Elementary School, Leverett, Massachusetts
Landscape Architect for a three million-dollar addition to the existing
elementary school. Work included definitive design and construction documents
for an outdoor fully accessible courtyard, pre-school and elementary school
age play areas, landscaping, extending parking, walkways, retaining walls
and grading and drainage. Project done in association with Bannister and Greenberg,
Architects.
Cliffview Manor, Easthampton, MA
Site design and sidewalk improvement project for an elderly housing project
in Easthampton. The project included redesigning the road circulation, parking,
crosswalks, and sidewalks in order to be compliant with ADA requirements.
The project also included a Landscaping Plan and the expansion of a small
green space for the residents. This project was done in association with Killam
Associates New England, Hadley, Massachusetts
